wheeee I just *love* research papers
... since this is the internet and nobody can hear my voice I should probably state that that was sarcasm.
yeah.
At least it's something I mildly care about, so it's not *that* nerve-grating
and we also have to do a presentation but my teacher encouraged us to ham it up with the jokes. which is kinda my schtick. you get jokes whether you like it or not because darnit I feel awkward up there and if I don't crack jokes it'll just get more awkward real fast.
I know what it feels like to sit through a bazillion presentations that you don't care about with some person presenting it in a fashion dry enough to rival a saltine. I sit there, blink at the wall and have a hard time remembering where I am and what my name is. Or I stare at my feet pondering the meaning of a sneaker.
plus I'm presenting a thing about body image- which is one of those things that you normally attribute to being a 'girl' topic- to a class that is 90% guys. Theyz gonna be bored.
