I have entirely too much to do this summer and it's already June 7th. That's not okay. Fudge fudge fudge...

Sea salt caramel gelato . . . been randomly thinking of it for days! Maybe today will be the day I go for it. Always a battle wandering down the ice cream aisle in the grocery!

Got Ben n Jerry's at the convenience store near my house earlier. Fresh off a con today, me and two of the friends I went with hung out afterward.
I was worried when my sister couldn't go with me this year, but... dare I say this was better?
I skipped prom for this. I see people posting prom pictures and to be completely honest, I have absolutely no regrets. Doing the same old prom thing... boring, me says. If I'm going to wear uncomfortable shoes in a sweaty environment I'm gonna do it my way.
Plus money wise, we got the better deal. Sixty for three days of con fun vs over 80 bucks *just* to get into prom. That's not counting hiring a bus or makeup sessions and all that stuff.
That's three whole days versus just one night.
Three days with my buddies partying at a con and a neat t-shirt, I'm positive I had more fun than I'd ever have had if I'd gone to prom. I got sunburned, and I'm not even bothered by it. I'm more upset that I have to go back to school tomorrow XD

^^ I didn't go to prom either. Went to two Sick Puppies concerts instead. Obviously no regrets what-so-EVER!!!

The idea of prom never entertained me to begin with. Too much money to spend on something I don't even really want to go to. The idea of dress shopping seems like a colossal headache to me. Plus I'm not one for loud dance parties unless I'm the one picking the music XD not a fan of the top 40 billboard, with a few exceptions of stuff that I don't particularly love but don't mind so much. I dunno, I just get bored so fast and then I can't stop and have a conversation with anyone without having to yell right in their ear and go to the side of the room completely opposite from the speakers. At a con you can be right in the middle of the action or you can go off in a quiet spot for a while, take a break and play an overly aggressive game of cosplay uno with your buddies XD

Great minds think alike!!! TOTALLY have to agree. I couldn't even fathom spending $200+ on a dress I would wear all of once. (Imagine how I'll be if I ever get married....!) I would MUCH rather do cosplay any day!!

Completely agree i have horrible legs for a dress as well. On another note one more day at work then a week off for festival time
