I play a lot of Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and We Are The In Crowd.
I know some blink, Bowling For Soup, Hey Monday, and All Time Low.
My most recent learnings are of Nickelback, after they put on an amazing show that I won tickets for.
And SP Riptide, although I play it in drop D tuning.
I started off playing country music as a kid, but evolved into more pop-rock, pop-punk and rock. I felt as if I could relate to the lyrics more than those of country genre. After I received my first electric guitar, I was able to elaborate and define myself as a musician. I try to learn heavier sounding songs but do not have the ability of drop C or lower tuning. If I am able, I improvise parts to fit the songs i want to play.
I don't define musicians based on gender or origins, but based on quality of instruments, vocals and communication to fans. If someone likes a band that i don't, it's whatever floats their boat. Music has a way to speak to everyone, all in different ways.
Thanks for all the positive Welcomes and feedback!
