I just love this...the power went out 30 minutes ago. They said it is estimated for 7am. First that sucks cuz I'm already cold. Second I heard that same pop as I mentioned before with the overhead fuse. The bigger problem is that my power flickered twice last night when I heard the same noise but further away. The second time I went outside and saw the power was out 2 buildings to the west and several others right there. What the hell is going on? Why does this keep happening? For my place this is the 4th time since I moved here for the fuse. Of course also out with weather before too. Xcel obviously has problems. I just checked there outage map and that says estimated restoration is 8am

Edit 5 minutes after posting...I don't freaking believe it. It's on...for now. $5 days it goes out again.

I hate this time of year. It's really cold but it hardly ever snows here (I like snow), there's no major fun holidays anytime soon, and it's just generally a blah time of year. At least it's basketball season.

I hate it when you have to walk through snow and salt and then can get the white crap off your shoes. I've washed/wiped them down I'm not sure how many times already.

I hate banks. For no reason what so ever let's just transfer some money from one account to another...insert sarcasm here. If I hadn't caught it right away there could have been a real sh*t storm.

I hate when people at work have absolutely no idea what I do all day. I do everything as quickly and efficiently as physically possible and I'm still running my tail off from the time I get there at 1:30 to the time we serve dinner at 5:30, and even then sometimes not everything gets completely finished by the time we have to start taking food out. And I hate the psycho nurse that tells me I just don't want to do this ridiculous task that would take at least an hour, at our busiest time. And I hate how she won't listen to the whole kitchen staff that tells her there is no physical way we can do what she wants us to do because of time AND the fact that none of us are qualified to do it.

I hate that place so much.
