but she has been peeing.

Is she still drinking water?
yep.

Does she seem lethargic/depressed at all?
no not at all.

i will try the vaseline idea,

I had this WHOLE post typed up and then my internet went out and I lost it... Grrr... Anyways.

Yes, I would start off with the Vaseline. Sometimes they can get "partial obstructions" where it's not completely stuck but still makes them sick. The Vaseline will hopefully help it make its way out.

Here would be my recommendations:

1. Give her the Vaseline
2. Cook up some lean hamburger or chicken breast and white rice. Mix them together.
3. Offer her about 1 tbsp. Wait 10-15 minutes. If she does not vomit, offer her another 1/2 cup.
4. If she seems to be doing ok, and not vomiting, offer her 1/2 cup of the hamburger/chicken and rice 3-4 times per day for 5-7 days.
5. If she is still vomitting, wait until the next mealtime and try again.
6. If she continues vomiting through tomorrow, stops drinking water, or becomes lethargic/depressed, bring her into the vet ASAP.

Hope that helps!!

(Thanks, Sam. You guys are such kindhearted people, I knew you would understand. )

I really dislike dogs.
But I think they're sooo cute when they're babies!

Steph, those dogs are really adorable

^^^ Cute! The second one doesn't look like a chihuahua to me...well, at least not a regular one. I'm not sure what kids of chihuahuas there are.

^^ Aww...they are very cute!!! One of my dogs is part chihuahua but def. doesn't look it. He's a lot bigger than them and he's really fluffy  No one ever believes his mother was a purebred chihuahua.

Thanks, Cera. Unfortunately it's only been getting worse. Everyone has been wondering, and is now pretty convinced that it was an abuse case. One of the doctors keeps cornering me asking me if she should report it. I knew the kitty's mom really, really well and I know she would have never laid a hand on her. Her boyfriend, however, I only met once and that wasn't enough time for me to gauge what he was like. And he always seemed to be with her when something bad happened. He was alone with her the day she died also. Anyways, the kitty's mom is the only name on the medical record so if we report it, it'll be her getting in trouble, not him. And it's not only me that decides whether or not to report it. In all actuality, it is the law to report it, so I wish that doctor would just get off it and just do it already. I dunno. I've been having a lot of trouble coping with this... *sigh*
