Not much of a review, but they have some cool pics. What's with the braids in Shim's hair? I've never seen that before!

Sick Puppies originate from Australia and are now based in Los Angeles, California. They have a couple more tour dates listed for 2008. If you are in the Chicagoland area they are playing at the DeVry Institute on 9/13 with Avenged Sevenfold, Ludo, and Theory of a Deadman. On the flip-side, if you are near Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania they will be playing with 3 Days Grace at the Bloomsburg Fair.

The have a very radio rock sound twisted with Australian accents. Shimon was at the mic between songs encouraging crowd participation. Last Sunday at Verizon Wireless the crowd didn’t seem to into any of the bands except 3 Doors Down. I meant to look up into the sky and see if there was a full moon because Sick Puppies, Hinder, and Staind all put on great shows.

This group rose to a new level with their song “All the Same” that was used in the Free Hugs video that ended up being on the likes of Oprah, Jay Leno, 60 Minutes. The video documents a man giving free hugs to the American public. This particular video reached over 30,000,000 viewers.

NO ONE WAS IN THE FREAKING PIT!like only 10!

ME & Serge and his friend were the only ones standing in support and respect in the seat area throughout the whole show!

The crowd really did suck.

We tried counting how many actual like SP shirts we saw before the show and it was less than 5...including us =\

I really dig Shim's braids and when I asked about them he said "Yeah it's the end of the touring for a while, so it's like what the f*ck, just do whatever to my hair" I thought it was pretty funny =P
