Well I just googled it and I found that the last time CT went red was 1988, voting for Bush Sr.

The place we went to was packed but we were in and out in around 10 - 15 minutes at the most. I probably stared at my ballot longer than we stood in line.

I voted for my first time too. I was soooo nervous that they would not let me vote because I couldn't find my voters registration card, but they did I am wearing my I VOTED sticker with PRIDE

We did a mock election at school today, and the only red state was Texas. 
Out of the whole school, some thousand kids, there were 34 votes for McCain. We also voted on the senate, but I didn't hear who won. I have a very loud science class...
I'm taking this I Voted sticker and going to Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's for my free coffee and ice cream.

I was in and out pretty quickly. I opted for the paper ballot. I felt great after I voted. Always do.

We used the new paper ballots where you have to fill in the circles. Pretty simple.
