^yeah, plus who knows how many atreyu fans there is gonna be, since they're pretty well known-ish....I just hope they're not like chevelle fans...gosh I strongly disliked them. They're pretty similar so I'm thinking they have the same kind of following...anyone ever dealt with atreyu fans? how about hoobastank fans? any other the bands fans?....

This is actually gonna be my 4th time seeing Atreyu lol. None of you went to Family Values? =o

The moshing gets pretty annoying, but it's easily avoidable I think.

I think since it is a school campus security will be more strict than ever, AFI played there last year and it went completely smooth. Personally, I just wanna be in the front for the first 3 (basically to wait for the Pups lol), then just enjoy the rest of the show from afar so I don't have to deal with any crazyness/moshing if it does break out o.O

Gah, my last reply didn't post. Looks like a great holiday show to end the year. Very eclectic, both band and fan. You'll have the pop radio fans there for Hoobastank, the 'I think I'm hardcore' fans there for Atreyu. and the 'damn we have good taste in music' fans for Sick Puppies

This is coming up so fast, and well since I help out at every show really even though I don't cover it I was wondering if taking an extra clipboard or two would help and hopefully increase the sign up for the newsletter.

Missy since you're the one covering it, I can pbuy a clipboard for your mom and myself and we shall harrass er I mean ask ever so kindly everyone to sign up =P

Does anyone know how many sheets there will be?i can take clipboards for serge and i if you all nded help and so we can cover more ground faster

I think the least I've ever seen at an SP show is about 2, but I'm hoping there will be plenty more to go around since it is a very big show for them (and close to selling out!). So I'd take those clipboards for sure.

However, when I bought my ticket I got a "list of rules" sheet and it seems like they're gonna be pretty strict since cameras aren't even allowed. So I hope they're not lame and consider those clipboards a "weapon".

......I mean, "assault/death by clipboard!", sounds pretty ridiculous =x

Hmmm I really want to take advantage of this big arena, is there anyway one of us can get mailed some plain sheets to get filled or something? or make sure there's a lot of sheets at the show?

^^^ that's a great idea Gigi .. if we can't get some sheets mailed in time maybe someone with Excel (I don't have it unfortunately or I would do it) could create a sheet and print them out and mail them to you ?

That's good thinking Gigi. As long as one of us can get 1 plain sheet that would be great, they are plain black and white so maybe someone can be in charge of making copies before the show?

.....by the way, what time are you planning on arriving at the venue? I plan on being there no later than 2p, I might get there earlier to see if the campus bar will be open. I'm actually moving soon and will be at my new place by then, which is about 1/2 mile from campus, so I'll be drinking plenty the day of the show =P
