VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown

I don't think we've ever tried but does anyone think we could get enough of us together to vote for one video of SP's to see if we can get it on the countdown? Saving Abel was in the Top 20 which was what sparked this idea...

I don't know, aren't the videos on the countdown songs that are current hits/newer releases?

Yeah, they definitely are newer releases. This would be a great idea as soon as they release a new single and a video, but I would think it's too late for anything else

They opened up for SP last year and well, SP's a way better band in every way, that's so sad and unfair. Damn the lack of justice in this world

.....but I agree that for the next single/video we do our best to get that baby in there!

I'm thinking that it is more current releases as well but that doesn't mean we can't do it for the new CD
I was actually watching a bit of MTV last night and The Veronicas (female Australian duo) were doing their "Hitlist" and I watched it hoping that they would have chosen a fellow Australian group ... Sick Puppies... to be in their hitlist but they didn't - I was a bit mad too because the ones that they did choose weren't good..at all ..but of course I know I am biased

If you visit it does give the option to enter in your choice of artist and video for the "Wildcard Video" of the week. But perhaps you ladies (and sir) are right about this being a good idea for when the new album drops.

We really should and make a big deal out of it like Evanescence fans did for the TRL Crashers or whatever they made Ev the first wind-up band to ever make it as number 1 on their list


I do believe we have the power to do just that on VH1 and we can even come up with a nifty name

it was hard enough to do with Ev i think its gonna be tougher for SP. but hey that just means we gotta keep converting peeps to SP fans as much as we can while waiting for the new cd!

Due to the anticipation of seeing the official "You're Going Down" video on MTV2 tomorrow, I figured it was due time to revive this thread and do everything we can to get everyone participating in this and voting for SP on any/all music countdown shows!

yeah yeah!!!!!!!!!! Somebodies going down and it ain't gonna be Sick Puppies....lets do this!!! I've always wanted to see them on VH1.....Safety Suit has been on there for awhile and they opened for Sick Puppies at Higher Ground VT last year. They seem to be doing well on the countdown. No reason why Sick Puppies shouldn't be there So lets all join together, chant the praise of Sick Puppies, and say "lets do this!"...FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!
