so I have a question for you photoshop pros....what if I have an image..say the Sick Puppies logo...and say I wanted to create a transparent background on it so that I can use that logo on anything. How would I do that?

*is a noob*

*is also sick of using logo on only black and white backgrounds*

Erase the background and then make it a layer when you want to use it.

If the background is white, make it a brush by going to edit > define brush preset. Quick and simple, and you can make the logo any color you want. :)

I am currently using an app called Sketchbook Mobile for Android by Autodesk on my tablet. For a tablet app it has a lot of tools and even allows you to work in layers. The saved file can be exported out to PSD (and jpg, gif, png too) that keeps all the layer data. I use it pretty much for sketching when traveling. Its like finger painting without the mess. The exported file is 8" x 12" at 100dpi.
