so I'M watching mtv and see bands like saving able and ever saftey suit on there but no sick puppies.first of all saftey suit really!!!!!I saw them open up for sick puppies and "The band that shall not be named" and they were terrible. : . Saving able are ok but don't stand up to the sick puppies.Shim is a way better singer and there bassist can hold a candle to emma.Just frustrating that we don't see them on video shows.reminds me why I don't usally watch mtv or vh1.

I had similar complaints a couple weeks ago when I saw that Saving Abel's song "Addicted" had made it to the top 20 video countdown on VH1. Don't worry though, we're going to blow their heads off with requests once SP's new album comes out!

I second Katy's comments! We will definitely do everything in our power to see that they are given some well deserved recognition as soon as the new album (or a new single/video etc) is released!

It amazes me as well - in my opinion the majority of the videos that MTV and VH1 play are not my style of music . They pretty much play the same videos over and over with alot of it being rap or just weird
We will definitely be getting SP on VH1's top ten though - it is a goal that I know we can accomplish !

I agree it sucks that their videos don't get air time, but I did see My World played MTV2 a couple times, but that was while ago, but then again MTV and VH1 have become more reality television networks than the cutting edge of music it might of been in the past, and when they do play music videos it is the same ones over and over........

This is why I can't stand to listen to radio anymore. All the "mainstream" bands like nickelback and saving abel get their songs played every five minutes, but great bands like sick puppies or dropkick murphys (another one of my favorites) are never heard. There have been days when I'll turn on the radio and find the same song on two or even three stations at the same time. It saddens me that people like britney spears get so much attention for songs with a mediocre beat and mindless lyrics. It's enough to put my head in a pillow and scream.

The station here X1039 LOVES SP and plays them constantly! they're independent though so the signal isn't too far ranged =[

May I make a suggestion at all?! How bout puttin a huge video collection together of everyone givin their request for not only MTV but MM (for us Canadians) WOW them. People could send in clips and make one big video request of it and ALSO post it on youtube and have people post it on their websites and stuff?!

My station used to play them a whole lot. They've been in the studio and have done acoustic performances for them, played the stations Xmas show, Pointfests, etc...but now I rarely hear them anymore.

My local station X103.9 plays SP pretty regularly.
SP has also been part of their Xmas show the past 2 years.
Hopefully WAR will be playing on X soon!

I wouldent even bother sending request to Mtv they hate rock there the ones who proclaimed it "dead" like 5 years ago I just stick w/ Fuse they play Sp sometimes on there video year books ( the non top ten ones) for 07 and actual good music
