all the same- because it is pretty much the reason how we all first came to know them.
anywhere but here- because it seems to be their most popular song among their fans.
say my name- because it is great at getting the crowd into a show when they are an opening band.

Cancer - It's awesome when they play this live. The energy is incredible.
Say My Name - I expect it when I go to a show. It adds this element of pure fun, and, again, energy.
This is tough...Becky, what's up with you and forcing us to make incredibly difficult decisions that involve eliminating some of the band's songs?
Uh...Anywhere But Here - I'd love to hear it live, and it seems to be a fan favorite.
It's killing me that there's no WTTRW on here.

All The Same - Pretty much the reason Matt said, it's the song that got them most noticed. Plus, in my view, it's one of the best songs of ALL time.

Cancer - The perfect opener, I hope it stays that way and becomes tradition. =P

Nothing Really Matters - A perfect closure, and it features one of the best/sexiest bass solos from our very own Em's! It's also cool to keep some of the old school stuff on your setlist =x

well why not? JK - that is completely up to you, and you had good choices too.... I don't think anyone can choose poorly when we are given such great material to choose from!

*forgive the blond moment, but I was just like, "what?"!*

Ya, this is hard, having to choose only three, cause all the songs are fantastic. But I would have to say:

All The Same- cause as ToniB said, its the first song I heard from them that led me here to this wonderful place to enjoy so many great experiences of being a huge fan. This song got me hooked. Other than that, it's just a great tune and my favorite.

My World-cause again, its a great tune and the lyrics sometimes resembles my life and what I've been through. Those are the best songs, with lyrical meaning.

Cancer-just because its a great rocked out tune. Something I can listen to and dance around the room like a crazy nut, when I'm alone ofcourse..lol, and love blasting this one while driving on the highway but sometimes can get me in trouble with giving me a heavy foot to my gas pedal..lol! No speeding tickets yet, knock on wood!

Sigh... this is tough

Howard's Tale - Incredible bass lines and powerful song. It would be a shame to lose this one.

Something Different - There's just something about hearing this song live...there's so much energy behind it. I always find myself waiting for this one.

All The Same - Although there are other songs that are closer to being my favourite, this is the song that usually gets people into SP in the first place, so most people will know at least the chorus. I love the way the crowd sings this song back to the band. Sigh.... concert withdrawal

Damn I have been so orried about what they are going to cut, and this is just making it worse.

Nothing Really Matters - It is just an amazing song.

Say My Name - THe crowd loves it, and even if they do not know SP at the time this song seems to bring them around.

Howard's Tale - Because it is an amazing, truthful song and the first time I heard it live Shim called out all the parents and told them to listen to their kids something like this can happen and I just think it is a song that needs to stay around.

Hmmm...

Anywhere But Here- Always been my fav of their songs and Emma has great vocals in it.

Cancer- LOVE it as their opening because it gets the crowd into their set right from the beginning.

Nothing Really Matters- Keeps the crowd into it right until the very end. Plus this song shows talent from all 3 band members.

(short, sweet, and to the point. )

Shim: You don't like Rage Against the Machine?
Me: I like one song.
Shim: Which one?
Me: Bulls on Parade.
Shim: F%&* off! HAHA

I think there's a general consensus here on Anywhere But Here being an amazing song. :P Which it is, of course.

Hm... I think I would have to go with

1. Say My Name: it's just too good of a cover to eliminate. The first time I saw them live and heard this, I couldn't help but crack up. Not only that but they turn the song into something completely different and I love it. Always gets the crowd going.

2. All The Same: although I would have to say there are songs that definitely do more in the "get up and move" department, this is the song that led a lot of us to Sick Puppies...

3. Nothing Really Matters: just cuz.

Three songs to keep:

Say My Name - For all the reasons listed above and more. I think the way they took that song and made it their own really shows a crowd the diversity of what they can do. Also, after hearing this - and the way Shim starts it - when they opened up for Evanescence, I was hooked! It was what made me leave that venue wanting to know anything and everything I can about them.

Howard's Tale - It's very selfish of me but I've yet to see this live and aside from the so-amazing-there's no better-description-bass lines that Emma dishes out, it's my only reason for wanting to keep it.

Nothing Really Matters - See Serge's and Jamie's answers above. :)

Becky - @ the masochist comment!
