you are right, i met saving able and got a cd signed by them around june. (if i wasnt at the show i never would have bought it)i have yet to listen to that cd lol they are not that good. but i think they were able to sell more cds because they are touring in bigger shows than SP has ever done.

Yeah that's definitely true, they've been lucky as hell by opening for bands like 10 Years, Puddle Of Mudd, and now Nickelback. I think the Pups need to open for a huge band with a similar sound and with fans that would actually enjoy the music. I still say opening for Foo Fighters would be major success

in order for them to reach a new level of success, they need to open for a big band on a a huge summer tour. i love their shows when they headline, but they will not become a gold/platinum band playing small venues and clubs. i wish they could because those shows are the best, but in todays music industry it is not possible. they would need to get on a tour with no doubt, nickleback, crue or mayhem (obviously they do not fit into the last two lol). a some what logical tour for them would be warped tour, but that is not designed for bands that have already made a name for themselves. they would have to give up alot to be on that tour.

I dont think 59,000 is the current number if I remember right thats the Dec 07 total sales to date(billboard only kept track while it was on the list)

While I like Saving Abel, here's the issue... Their music is very COMMERCIALLY appealing. It is very vanilla, and not terribly original. Apparently that's what a lot of people like. The pups are OBVIOUSLY a hundred times better and have more talent in their 3 members than Saving Abel has in 5 (or even if they had 15).

saving ble has no real talent, i can almost guarentee this will be the last album they produce that anyone cares about.
