Hello SPWC,
I've been a fan of Sick Puppies since the fall of 2006 when I first saw Shimon Moore's Free Hugs Campaign on Youtube. I find the video touching and inspiring along with the song "All The Same" as the background music. Then, in early of 2007, I heard that same song in the Free Hugs video on our local radio station. I was really hooked after that. The Sick Puppies played X-FEST 2007 and I made some FREE HUGS signs to hold up during their set. All my friends didn't go along with it, I was the only one that held up mine. I can be seen in their Youtube video of X-FEST crowd surfing and holding the sign.

Kinda fast forward to last week, I saw the Sick Puppies play an acoustic set here in Dayton, Ohio after playing Rock on the Range in Columbus the day before and they rocked. And here I am now finally registered on the Sick Puppies World Crew website and glad that I finally joined.

All I can say is ....What took you so long lol ? Welcome to our family. I'm sure you'll find this is one of the friendliest groups around. X-Fest 2007 was my first live encounter with the band, and I've been hooked ever since ...following them from Ohio to New York to Missouri. Now that you're here, perhaps you may consider taking the next step and apply to become an Ambassador for Ohio? Dayton is my home too, so I probably saw you at McGuffy's as I was handing out stickers and signing fans up for the newsletter.
