I don't care what anybody says, this Nickelodeon show was great. Now M. Night. Shyamalan is doing a live action version, and it actually looks pretty good. I know I'm exited

I don't know if I trust M. Night. Shyamalan with the movie but the trailer looks good. Zuko was my favorite character but he cast the guy that was in Slumdog Millionaire to play him and I don't agree with that. Not because he is a bad actor but because he doesn't have the look. I can't take him seriously as this badass Prince:

The series on Nick was the only thing I used to watch on that channel and is the only good cartoon I've seen since Cowboy Bebop, LOL.

but about the movie, what's the storyline like?

Iro is awesome, but I'm not real happy with who they got to play him. All we can do is wait and see.

Avatar was all I watched for like, years! My favorite character is probably Iro too, he was really funny. Zuko is a badass too lol.

oh gosh, just checked out the cast. i am horrified! ah, not to be rascist or anything, but why are they all white? and why is jasper the constipated looking vampire from twilight playing sokka? agreed, not happy with the guy who is playing iro either

So the cast being white is ok at times, especially considering Firelord Ozai and Prince Zuko are played by Middle Easterners (part of Asia). The show was meant to encompass the whole world, so it is only natural that the cast could not all be Asian. I just think that Firelord Ozai's brother might want to look like he is at least from roughly the same part of the world. The guy playing Iro would also have to pack on a few hundred pounds to make him believable. I'm going to give this movie a chance, but I'm not overly impressed so far.

I think great creation from the Director of the Avatar. No doubt the best movie
I have ever seen. The idea and all the graphic of the movie are awesome.

I haven't watched the show but I really loved the movie and it sucks that people hated it because I know they should have made 2 other movies and now they kept the ending open with no answers
