Thoughts/Favorites on Tri Polar

Well Its officially on ITunes now so its time to talk about it =D. I was lucky enough to get a pre copy thanks to a relative and i think the whole CD is awesome. It was exactly what i would expect from them, each song has its own twist and sound to it which i love.

My top 3 songs (excluding You're going down and war)
1. Maybe
2. So What i Lied
3. RipTide

Although really i listen to the whole album over and over since there isn't a bad song on there.

If you don't count You're Going Down since it's not really new, then I would say that my favorite is Riptide. I also really like Survive. Let's face it, the whole album f*ing rocks

I think my 3 favorite songs are Maybe, Don't Walk Away, and Riptide. I love the whole album though, it hasn't left my cd player or changed albums on my Ipod since I was able to pick it up at the show last Thursday.

Anyone who got it off of iTunes listened to Dead Space yet? I'm curious to know what this song is like.

Dead Space is kinda like...think the bottom(the dark kinda feel to it) but with better guitar, and with the emotion feeling of like basically the title--feeling like being /Deadspace (I like it id put it above some songs on the album like top 7)

And my fav 3 are Should've known better, I hate you, and Odd One- the only one im not feeling yet is MOTU

I really do like White Balloons, hearing them duet like that is so good. And I love that the last line is the last line of the entire album. It just wraps it up so wonderfully.

I LOVE the album, the sound's a bit different than before but still amazing.

Survive is a pretty good song to me, I like the tempo of it and the riffs.

I was surprised when I heard Emma singing in White Balloons and at the end of Don't Walk Away, she has a very pretty singing voice. Loved her bass playing in the opening of Master Of The Universe, she's such an amazingly wicked bassist.

All in all, the album's amazing and I can't wait to see them perform these songs live when they come back to Atlanta next month.

Dead Space is... ummm.... Different. I think this one's gonna have to grow on me. I will like it with time... But it wasn't like the rest of the album where it was love at first sight... err... sound lol

does anyone else think that the big album review on itunes sounds...not in sick puppies favor. it ends with, "unfortunately for Sick Puppies, theres nothing with the breakthough potential of All The Same here." and it compares them to my chemical romance and says "Sick Puppies lack the theatrical edge of MCR that make the sound work."

im to lazy to type up the whole thing but i dont like it. if i hadnt heard of sick puppies and read the album review itunes put up for it, i dont think i would buy anything other than master of the universe which they call the albums highlight.

it also says they sound more american than ever...weird.
