There, that's better. Yeah, I bet I'm a bit older than some of the regulars on this forum, but I like to think this helps me stay young......or I'm searching for my lost childhood, you decide.
So, how did I get into SP? Well probably a lot different than most. I'm online all the time, but I don't go surfing through videos on YT, so I never heard of the Free Hugs campaign until I saw part of YT Live 08 when they performed. I didn't think too much of it at the time and went about my day.
Believe it or not, it was the damn Street Fighter commercial that got me into SP. I'm a store manager for Gamestop so I work with videogames all day and I heard the commercial all the time. I liked the song in it, but one day on another forum someone posted a link to War on YT so I listened to the whole thing and liked it. Gee.....what's this related video link?

I listened to all of DUAL for the first time that way. Then I bought the album and have been a fan since. Yeah, since about February 09.
I almost took a copy of Street Fighter IV to the acoustic performance I went to for them to sign it. Now I wish I had because it would have been cool to have that signed.
I have such broad tastes in music, but I only latch onto very few bands. There are maybe 5 bands that I follow hardcore and buy EVERY album of theirs.

I listen to a lot of other stuff, but these are the bands that I'll follow religiously from now on.

Yeah, that's me on an autocross course in my Focus. Recently I've started listening to War right before my first run of the day to get hyped up for the competition.
