-The Breakdown- (this poem i had published)
My heart has turned blue,
Its finally broke in two.
You tell me no, yet i resist
Where shall my fate lead me without this?

I loved it all along,you know that's very true.
Let me find where i belong,
Please don't be so cruel.

You know what i desire,one small little thing.
You call me an instigator,
What problems do i bring?

When you're around I show no sorrow,
I don't shed a single tear
Yet as you leave,I breakdown, unable to breathe.

No one helps me up,
not even with a notion.
I just keep falling down, caught in a wave of emotion.

Let me out and let me in,
I want to shed this tortured skin.
No point to throw our lives away,
Just let me go, and find my own way.


-Away-
I come to you with courtesy
I come to you with hope.
You sit there and think this is all just a big joke.

I sit there and see your face,
and within these past few days,
you ripped out my heart,
tore my soul, and everything i live for.

Sadness now consumes me.
I'm just yearning for something more.
Waiting for this life to end,
to start something less torn

I dream of the day i can pack my bags and say goodbye,
Leave the corruptness of this life behind.
Search for truth and equality
On a road towards morality.

I'll sing one last lullaby,
and tell you this is the last goodbye.
Sick of you and your prejudices
And start my own pursuit to happiness.

Hello, goodbye
Time just seems to fly by
It seems we just met
Now you're all packed and set
to start a new life
set forth a new destiny
and live your life

I'm glad you found happiness
A new place to call home
Yet I still wonder,
Will you think of me when you're alone?

Sorry for all the things I did not say
For all the time just spent away
Time is now an empty glass,
filled no more with time to pass.

It was you who showed me friendship
It was you who showed me life
I have you to thank,
For all the time spent side by side.

Now as we make our final amends,
Tie up all loose ends,
I have one last thing to say
Before you go your own way.
Remember me, if only just a memory
Three cheers to you!

-Alone-
A flower once in bloom,
loses it's petal, turning to gloom,
Days once filled with laughter and joy,
Now filled with melancholy, hard to destroy.

A frown inable to break,
A tear so helpless to keep,
Emptiness fills the soul,
Life is worth nothing anymore.

-Failure-
Upon this lonely dwindling day,
I sit pondering if I'll ever find my way.
A ship once set for success,
Stuck in a mess, with no compass.

I'm a failure in your eyes,
Just trying to take one final rise.
It kills me to see you disappointed,
Put your faith in the other
Because regardless of my efforts, to failure i am appointed.

Everyone has their cross to bare,
As i fall many times with cries of despair.
Seeming heavier by the day,
Such a weight causes my soul to decay.

Nailed to this cross I cannot rid,
Makes life unbearable to live.
A useless friend, sister, daughter
This living hell appears hotter.

Someone please save me if you will,
give me some useful skill.
One to satisfy all around,
One to help me stay around.

-Leave-
Take me,
come on and save me,
from this life today
Sing me, why won't you bring me
out of this town today

Let's leave, take a breath and see
the world today
Make a way for better days,
leave the fear that never sleeps
behind today

tempt me, with a life only to envy
you sweet words seem true,
sunrise, a new day to surprise
those who care for you

fate, the one you can't escape

fortune doesn't come to those who wait
reach beyond where you can see
for your dreams of who you want to be

-Confusion-
what's the use of a life
with a point so condescending
find a place, in the mind
where life meets no reality
walking straight into shame
toward a life so unsure

live up, live down
find where i am headed
will i fall, will i drown
doesn't matter, i'll tell it

i'm so sick of a future,
life of confusion, driven for success
burning bridges and turning
trying to find myself
who am i in the end

Take my hand, join me now
heading for the distant future
to a place far beyond
anything i have imagined
glistening eyes, shiny teeth,
a place away from fame and fortune

I keep coming over and glancing over these! They're very well written! They could easily make songs if you wanted them to!

haha, well thanks, only problem is, i really don't know how i can incorporate a guitar, bass, and drums into this, i'd really need help in doing that. haha. even though i do play three instruments, i really don't think im capable of writing these into songs, haha.

Really like this part. Doesn't it feel good to be creative and just get all this emotion out. I started to get into poetry when I was in the 7th grade when I started to like this boy and when we had to do a project using poetry for english class I believe. So I wrote this poem for this guy I was crushing on. I think he got to read it too. I was shy naive girl and he was talk outspoken trouble maker. OMG but that was so long ago and we are such different people now. Me good...him bad (drugs and alcohol i believe) But it feels good to go back now and read those poems I wrote. Very theraputic..helps the healing process and letting go (not so easy). So my long story short...good job keep up the good work!
