Evening ya'll!

Just popping in after doing the bio bit. You'll probably see my pop up from time to time around here. The name's Ned and it's a pleasure to meet all the other fans around here. I first heard the Sick Puppies on a radio segment called the New Music Matinee on the station 100.1 in NH. The song was "Welcome to my World" and I immediately knew I wanted more. But I had missed the name of the band and so had to wait until the next time I heard it on the radio. Thus fortified I promptly forgot (lousy memory) and so waited even longer until I finally started paying enough attention to write down the name of the band. And so, many moons later I finally saw them in concert and walked away a very, very happy fan.

I really enjoy their music (obviously) but primarily because of the lyrics and audible bass lines. Not having to strain to hear them makes listening more enjoyable for me. I am a guy so I'll post up the requisite "ZOMG hot bassist" right there but I didn't know about the lovely Miss Anzai for some time and just enjoyed the bass for itself.

The only downside to the band, in my opinion, is that none of my friends are cool enough to enjoy them with me. Which means slightly fewer albums will sell AND I have to listen to my albums in the solitude of my home, where no one sees me head-banging or acting crazy. Ah well.

Haha, Welcome to the forums. And it's not a guy thing, it's just admitting a fact. Emma is incredibly beautiful, and I realized today she's even more so in person. Even my sister couldn't help but going all fangirl!

And I'm sure your friends will come around. I managed to turn my catholic friend onto them. xDD

I'm not sure if she's heard Cancer though..

Of course, I don't know if they just said they listened to shut me up, or if they actually DID listen... But still
