What Would You Pick As The Next Single?

What would your pick be for the next single from Tri-Polar? This is not really a poll to vote for your favorite song, more so what song you think would be best for radio.


I picked So What I Lied. Considering the success of You're Going Down, I think they should stick with the harder stuff for the next single. So What I Lied sounds rock radio friendly, but at the same time, has a unique enough sound not to get lost among all the songs on the radio that all sound the same. It stands out. To me, at least.

I went with I hate you because its one of my favorites on tri-polar and that its already being played on 99.9 the buzz my radio station. I don't know much about radio since its not my favorite thing. I do alot of music listening online and watching music tv shows.

Edit: Maybe we should/could start a thread topic on what types of questions would be good and most importantly useful to Sick Puppies. I love the polls so far..keep 'em up!

I picked "So What' I Lied"! It's one of my fav tunes and I agree with what Becky said, sticking more with the hard core stuff!

I picked RipTide, but it isn't like my favorite song, I just think it would make a good single and I love the bass line!

I choose Riptide as well ..it isn't my fave but I think it would do very well on the radio .

This song in my opinion would do so well on so many markets in terms of radio. It would create so many more fans, and to top it off, it would show off their skills so much more. With the first singles, they rocked our faces off... now they can show their softer side. Then when we get used to that, rock our faces off again with a song like So What I lied.. or maybe even Don't Walk Away

I picked So What I Lied i agree with Becky and partly because it balances between soft melodies and hard riffs something everyone can enjoy

I Hate You for me as well. Hearing it in regular rotation on 99.9 The Buzz has made me realize how well it works among other rock singles. It's also my favorite non-single song on Tri-Polar, and the perfect single to go along with the previous two (technically one, but close enough).

I went totally off and chose Should've Known Better. I don't know why, but the first time I heard it my first thought was "This should be a single". And that mind set just stayed ever since. I think that if they are really trying to get into the rock scene, that a LOT of rockers would enjoy this song.

I chose I Hate You because I like their harder sound and I think it would do well as a single (looking at the success of YGD). Plus I think it's a song that is easy to relate to for many people.

I also went with so what I lied. I love that song.. although if the pretender was on the cd I'd vote for that one it's such a good song wish I t had made it to tri-polar.

I picked I Hate You, tough to choose between that & Riptide.. I think that has a really radio friendly sound. However, pretty much ALL of the songs would be awesome on the radio.

I chose Riptide because I think it would stand out among all the other current rock songs that are playing in heavy rotation these days -- plus, I think it shows off the talent of each of the band members. Not to mention, it seems like a song that a variety of people could relate to.
