Does your local radio station play SP?

Do you guys hear SP on the radio in your area? I was surprised to see people say they rarely play them on their stations. In St. Louis, on the alt. rock station, they used to play them a whole lot. They seemed to have dropped in spins lately, though. :-/

Does anyone know if they are played on pop or Top 40 type stations? I never listen to those, and I'm curious.

I know the used to play sick puppies A LOT. but after my world they havent played it as much =[
so i think im gonna have to bug them tell they play em more. lol. gotta share sick puppies with the world! =]

idk about the pop or top 40 stations. i wonder though??

They play them a LOT on 1 of the rock stations here, X1039, but they're independent so they pretty much play whatever they want. The Pups have even done 2 shows for that station.

The corporate one KCAL967 don't play them but they only play super mainstream rock. And I don't get KROQ in my area but a friend who does says they do play SP sometimes.

I have yet to hear them on any of the radio stations in my area and I have been requesting them nonstop pretty much since I joined this forum. I'll just keep being persistent.

I don't think they have played them on our station. I don't lsten to it cause it is mostly r&b and Hip Hop and I just can't listen to that for more than half a song usually. They did play AFI religously there for a while every day at about 2pm...so you'd think they could play SP. I do know that Alt NAtion on Sirius played them alot because that is the first place I heard them but didn't realize who they were until I saw them play.

I don't listen to the radio as much as I used to - but I can honestly say that there is only 1 station in my area that has played SP and I have only heard them twice - once for ATS and once for My World. Interestingly enough I had 93.3 (WMMR) on for a few minutes today and they had some comedian as a guest on the show. About 5 minutes into listening to him he said something about getting free hugs which got me listening more intently ;D Unfortunately he didn't elaborate or go into what prompted him to say that - I'm guessing they were discussing something to do with free hugs before I turned the radio on - I'd like to think that they had been talking about SP ;D

I don't know if they play them regularly because i don't listen to the radiomuch anymore but about half the time i request it they play it

Thats how I origionally got into them.. I heard All The Same on the radio, then saw them with ev. and got into them...

now they play my world

They play them on the rock station near me.. I dont generally listen to the actual radio stations by me because I am always with my one friend and he has satellite radio. However for that station you can text message song requests in and we do it at least once a day for SP. They actually played "What are you looking for" for the first time a few weeks ago thanks to us.

I listen to a radio station from Plattsburgh and they play them pretty often...that's how I heard about the Sick Puppies for the first time
I requested All The Same on a local station and they never played it ::)

You guys are lucky!...I have never heard Sick Puppies on the radio, I even scan the stations sometimes just to see if maybe someone is playing them.

^^^The comedian was Christian Finnegan, I'm not familiar with him though. I checked his website to see if he mentioned anything about SP or free hugs and didn't see anything.
I agree about the commercials-can't stand them, and the radio stations seems to play the same songs about 5 or 6 times a day which gets annoying...if they played SP 5 times a day then I wouldn't mind

Ahhh That's not the same guy then... Darn! lol But yeah, I do like him too! I just wish our radio stations here were a little more ecclectic. It's always the same thing over and over... and if I am gonna listen to something that much, I wanna make sure I like it, so I stick with cds lol
