Hello Sick Puppies World Crew!

We would like to introduce Donovan Killgallon as our newest Sick Puppies Fan of the Week! Donovan is a member of our World Crew and his screen name is DnvnKillgallon, a member since 2010.

Donovan's favorite songs are "Odd One", "What Are You Looking For" and "That Time of Year". He lives in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, a small suburb near Madison. He loves Sick Puppies because "They just seem so real! Their sound is so different from most other bands, whether it's the heavy bass or the distortion of Shim's guitar, it all meshes together perfectly."

Donovan first heard about Sick Puppies when his local radio station played songs like "You're Going Down" and "Odd One". He enjoyed the music but wasn't a huge fan yet. While in school, Donovan suffered the brutal effects of bullying. In 8th grade he was injured running Track and needed surgery. When coming home from the hospital the first song on the radio was "Odd One". That song helped him through the rest of the year but he hadn't thought of buying it.

During freshman year the bullying got worse. Donovan finally bought Tri-Polar but didn't get around to listening to it right away. Later that week as the bullying continued, Donovan was on the verge of suicide...then he listened to the album. Even though he had heard the singles, Donovan couldn't believe what he was hearing...it all felt so new and good to him.

From that point on that's all he listened to...until he bought Dressed Up As Life! Those two albums were all that Donovan listened to for over a year and it's what he held on to! They helped keep him with us!
